Office Politics

Office politics happen when there is interest crash between two or more parties involve. It could be happening when one party wanted to get something out from what it belongs to another. The reason maybe many. One maybe wanted it out of revenge, others may wanted it for power, some way even wanted it as they want more money and others may also happen due to misunderstanding created by another. It may also be because one know the little secrets the other planning.

For this, it seem that everything are so scary. When office politics happens and especially it involve with self-interest, many things can be happen as they tend to steps on other bodies to goes up. And in doing this, a lot of lies , deceit and misunderstanding is create so one would not see the actual truth going on.

But from this little author point of view, it was more about the error view that everyone had especially for those who play office politics simply for the sake of earning more money each month. What they merely did are simply kicking away the most hardworking, potential or even talented person who helps a company growing. They maybe doing this by creating a illusion that the other person is not competent and showing that they themselves is most suitable compare to others.

Well, similar situation happen to me but I got a different conclusion after seeing such scenario. In my case, whoever really potential and talented, even if they had been frame in this company, they soar to even greater height at another company. In fact, they are even much better than now it is. More happy, more money and even more success. This apply toward those who also know this situation and decide to leave such company due to bad management. They too soar and find much happiness at other place.

And the unfortunate thing happen to the company. While the best are leaving and those who play office politics took the former who leave, the capabilities that the former could do cannot be done by the one who play office politics. And since those play office politics thought they can only success through sabotaging others, they continue sabotaj the good work done by others which in turn setup a culture thought to all the below that only sabotaging their supervisor or leader, will they ever get to be promoted. And guess what really happen after that? The company revenue keep shrinking and in next year annual report, the company was actually suffering a great loss and it become inevitable that all employee bonus was reduce (if lucky, it was only the bonus that got affected). And a great deal effort is needed to turn the company tide as the culture needed to be undone and we all know it is not easy to change how one thinks. If not properly manage, it can lead to bankruptcy to the company itself which I now fully understand that big companies went bankrupt reason.

What I been through maybe a mini situation compare to others who went through it, I do have a serious complaint about this. It do seem to me that one will use office politics when they had no idea of other alternatives so call investments to diversify their investment and generate more money. But I do learn that no matter what circumstances happen to the company, there are some people due to their excellent working track will continue to earn more and more regardless of the company performance. And I also learn that if you are doing your best, you will still get the best reward according to your effort regardless what anyone said.

And I probably are the one thinking of how to achieving and reach the earning of 100k per month even at the level entry work. Not really because setup by other people, but more of the fact I am enjoying my current work. I too do understand that my current work will eventually by pass as nothing say permanent. I probably wanted to reach the situation where I do not mind promoted to the next level if I was given the chance . But if that do not happens, I am still earning 100k per month regardless I getting promoted to next level or not. =)

Was that really a wishful thinking, I had no idea. But I did found out the path to be in heaven in my next lifetime. So I am not worry about my next lifetimes as I practically had guarantee it (all started from my continuous good deeds and merits since many years ago…if you too wish to reborn in heaven look for usnisa vijaya dharani songs). However I do had a situation where I had not yet accomplish my objectives. Although I know I can reborn in a good lifetime at my next lifetime, I am still learning how to become the millionaire me in this lifetime a reality =S (hopefully I do achieve it in 2 years time)
