EDUCATION SUCKS!!!Why studying is important

Some of us at a younger age time rebel our parent especially when they force us to study, study and study all the time. WE WANT OUR FEEEDOM, WE WANT TO RELAX, WE WANT TO ENJOY ALSO!!!!! I’m also one of those who slightly rebel my parent.
At my younger age, my parent use to send me school at 7am till 1pm, then I had tuition 2 hours sometimes twice a day and my days always like this every day including Sundays. All I remember that time is wake up, go to school then come home, had lunch then do homework or tuition. And when all this is done, it is usually around 8pm or 9pm at night. And this is my life since age 7 till 15. At 16 I started to say NO for the first time and it is my typically rebelling time starts. Fortunately, my English foundation has been strongly laid (Although my grammar wasn’t that good but at the very least I can read and understand well most of the English article).
My parents always say “Education is important in your life”. I don’t really understand what does it mean by that at that time but now I fully do.
There are people who say that Education is Success. When you become good in education you had success, I found that it is not so true. There are some drop outs students who now become so success that some of them own business that worth a million profit per year. Even others drop out can also earn 100k per year in their life.
So why do we still have education system? Why do we need to study?? There are two understanding from my current life point.
1. Education brings you options: This is not a joke. What you learn will eventually open you an opportunity to another field. For example: If you are a good swimmer, you may become an athlete. An opportunity arises and you are ask to be a swimmer teacher or you decide to start athlete shops.
2. Education decides how high you can start: This is purely from my experience especially from my latest job. This is an illustration I use to tell my students: Let say you have English and graduate in degree English, you get to be a teacher that teach diploma student. If your English is at high school level, you can teach primary school children only. However, if your English is as basic as primary children, you can only Montessori children. I met friends who is very good some even much more intelligent than I am, however their life career are limited at the entry point because they didn’t learn well at early age.
Having high education doesn’t necessary mean success to everyone as I heard. However, it definitely indirectly determines how good (or how high) your starting career can be. I don’t mean that you have to study and let go your social life totally. If you want to have fun in your life, yes you can. Just learn how to balance your study and your life and you‘ll get to enjoy life now and also at a later stage.
